Job Description:
We are looking for a Fulltime Mold Maker to join our team. They will be responsible for the construction, repair, and modification of molds using both CNC and manual machining equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build new molds from raw materials using CNC and manual machining tools.
- Repair and modify existing molds to meet quality and production standards.
- Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble molds for maintenance and evaluation.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.
- Operate manual and CNC machinery including lathes, mills, and surface grinders.
- Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and height gauges to ensure tight tolerances.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot tooling issues and implement improvements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company and OSHA standards.
- Perform additional tool room duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in mold making and precision machining.
- Proficient with CNC and manual machines.
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and CAD files.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
