Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders, ensuring a friendly atmosphere.
- Operate cash registers accurately, handling transactions and providing change as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the restaurant, including dining areas and food preparation zones.
- Learn and apply food safety practices to ensure all food items are handled correctly.
- Assist in the preparation of food items while adhering to quality standards.
- Buss tables promptly to maintain a tidy dining environment for guests.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and understanding retail math concepts.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness to assist team members and contribute positively to the team dynamic.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or retail setting is a plus but not mandatory.
