Hummus Republic is a vibrant fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant offering fresh, healthy, and delicious food. We are seeking responsible, dependable, and friendly individuals to join our dynamic team. While we prefer candidates seeking full-time positions, we are open to part-time applicants who are the right fit. Originating in Southern California, Hummus Republic is rapidly expanding nationwide, and our Scottsdale location was the first in Arizona. We now have a second location in Surprise. Our concept is akin to Chipotle and CAVA, serving fresh Mediterranean dishes like hummus, pita chips, pitas, wraps, and bowls. We need warm, outgoing individuals who thrive in a busy environment. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure your success!

 

**YOUR ROLE**

 

As a Kitchen Steward, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team by preparing food and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and food storage areas.

 

- Prepare recipes and assist with grilling and frying.

- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and other restaurant areas.

- Maintain food par levels and ensure proper stocking and organization of food storage areas.

- Ensure cleanliness of the line, prep area, dishwashing area, and storage areas.

- Properly dispose of garbage and recycling.

- Assist the team with additional cleaning and organizational tasks as needed.

- Undertake additional duties as assigned by management to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

- Experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus.
