Humphrey, Farrington and McClain is a leading personal injury law firm serving clients both locally and nationally. We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to manage daily financial operations, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and month-end financial reporting.

Job Responsibilities:
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments and reconciliations.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and prepare financial reports.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.
- Work closely with attorneys and leadership to track firm financial performance.
- Maintain organized financial records and compliance with legal industry accounting standards.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred but not required).
- 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (law firm experience preferred).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with attorneys and staff.
