Are you looking for an exciting seasonal opportunity in a breathtaking Alaskan setting? Klawock Island Ventures is seeking Security Staff to ensure the safety and security of our property, employees, and visitors for the 2025 cruise season.

$20/hour pay rate
$1,000 contract completion bonus (prorated based on contract completion)
Work in a stunning, remote Alaskan location
Engage in a meaningful role ensuring safety and security
Job Duties:
Monitor assigned areas regularly to ensure a safe and secure environment
Control entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles per company protocols
Evict trespassers and violators, detaining perpetrators as necessary while following legal procedures
Provide detailed reports on daily activities and incidents
Communicate using provided two-way radios clearly and effectively
Perform CPR or first aid as needed
Any other duties as assigned by management
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat
Prolonged periods of standing or sitting
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Comfortable working in a noisy area with various odors present
Work in an unheated building and a remote, rural community
Comfortable traveling by small plane or ferry to and from the job site
Must be able to walk or drive on gravel roads in inclement weather
Be flexible to extended work hours during the season
