Salary Range: 65,000 - 75,000 DOE
The Employee Housing Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining safe, functional, and comfortable housing facilities for employees. This position requires a well-rounded technician with experience in plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, electrical, and general repair work. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, completes work orders efficiently, and delivers excellent service to fellow employees.
Key Responsibilities:Perform routine and emergency maintenance in employee housing facilities
Complete assigned work orders in a timely and efficient manner
Troubleshoot and repair issues involving:
Plumbing – sinks, toilets, showers, water heaters
HVAC – basic troubleshooting and filter replacement
Electrical – outlets, fixtures, breakers
Carpentry – doors, windows, flooring, minor framing
Ensure maintenance logs and records are properly maintained
Communicate with the Housing Manager regarding status of repairs and any larger concerns
Respond to after-hours maintenance calls as needed (on-call rotation)
Support seasonal housing setup and shutdown processes
Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with all safety policies
Interact professionally with residents and provide excellent customer service
Identify and report potential hazards or needed improvements
High school diploma or equivalent
2 years of experience in general maintenance, facilities, or building trades preferred
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a variety of indoor and outdoor settings
Valid driver’s license required
Willingness to be on-call for after-hours emergencies
Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting
Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and physical elements
May require use of ladders, power tools, and manual labor
