Position: Night Security – Employee Housing
Location: Hoonah, Alaska
Hours: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM, 6 days/week
Pay: $20 an hour 😎
Starting mid May - October
Are you a night owl with a strong sense of responsibility and a knack for keeping things cool, calm, and collected after hours? Join the Icy Strait Point team as our Night Security and help make employee housing a safe, secure, and respectful place to call home!
🛡️ What You’ll Do:Patrol housing areas to keep things safe and sound
Ensure quiet hours are respected (a tired team is a grumpy team!)
Keep an eye out for underage drinking or other no-no’s
Do a little light cleanup (think trash pickup & tidying up common areas)
Make sure doors are locked and everyone’s where they should be
Be the friendly face of accountability after hours
Log any issues in a quick report—then go catch some zzz’s
21 years old
Reliable, responsible, and a little bit of a rule-follower
Comfortable working solo and outdoors at night
Calm under pressure and clear in communication
Not afraid of a little light lifting, walking, or weather
Bonus points if you’ve done security or similar work before!
