Cost Analysis Position Overview
HunaTek Government Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Cost Analyst to work closely with our government client in the Northern Virginia area. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of cost analyses in evaluating client programs, including life cycle cost estimates, Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) cost estimates, Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE), and ad hoc cost studies.
- Develop Cost Analysis Requirements Descriptions (CARDs) and support program office estimate activities.
- Support efforts in collecting, normalizing, and analyzing complex data.
- Build and defend budget requirements, assist in forecasting future funding needs, and evaluate contracting strategy.
- Conduct planning for acquisition of capabilities, identify sustainment cost impacts, and support solution delivery to a baselined schedule.
- Provide a basis and supporting materials for briefings to management at the executive and oversight levels for all affected program/project funding requirements.
Qualifications:
- US Citizenship is required.
- Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and uncertainty/risk software packages.
- Knowledge of the Government Acquisition Programs.
- Ability to lead detail-oriented tasks and multi-task under minimal supervision.
- Ability to present analytical results to senior leaders/stakeholders and manage large data sets.
