Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a vibrant nightclub environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent guest service skills and a passion for the culinary arts. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests, ensuring that their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the OpenTable system or similar technology.
- Ensure that all food is prepared according to safety and sanitation standards, maintaining cleanliness throughout the service area.
- Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Assist in bussing tables and clearing away used dishes to maintain a clean dining environment.
- Process payments accurately using the cash register, handling cash and credit card transactions responsibly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Uphold high standards of guest services, creating an inviting atmosphere for all patrons.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with basic math skills for handling transactions effectively.
- Experience with guest services in a fast-paced environment, particularly within nightlife settings, is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and culinary standards is beneficial to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by the nightclub schedule.
