Assistant Store Manager – Pet Retail
A locally owned pet boutique and grooming business is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations, lead a small team, and provide excellent customer service. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced retail environment focused on natural pet products and grooming services.
Responsibilities:
- Support daily store operations and ensure a clean, organized sales floor
- Lead, train, and motivate team members
- Assist customers with product selection and promote store services
- Monitor inventory and assist with merchandising
- Open and close the store as scheduled
- Will be required to work one weekend day per week every week.
Qualifications:
- Previous Assistant manager experience
- Strong customer service and leadership skills
- Dependable, organized, and able to multitask
- Comfortable with basic technology (POS, scheduling software, etc.)
- Passion for animals and pet care
