Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving food in a fast-paced environment. Your primary focus will be on ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers through efficient service and quality food handling.
Duties
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate cash registers, process transactions, and handle cash accurately.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service and upsell menu items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures.
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving and storing supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery.
- Manage time effectively to meet service demands during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory.
- Familiarity with cash register operations is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while managing time effectively.
- Knowledge of food handling practices is beneficial.
