Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience. Your exceptional customer service skills will help set the tone for our restaurant and enhance guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using our POS system.
- Communicate with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests, providing excellent guest relations.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, including taking reservations and answering questions about the menu or restaurant policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless dining experience for all guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
