As a HUNGRY Sales Development Representative, you will acquire the skills needed to kickstart your sales career in the food tech space and beyond. Not only will you play an integral role in driving key business results, but you will also receive training and development opportunities that will serve you for a lifetime career in sales. These positions are being created with future growth opportunities in mind, with the hopes of developing our future Account Executive team.


Through a variety of outreach methods including cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and more, SDRs will be tasked to set appointments with stakeholders who oversee corporate meal programs. There will also be daily training opportunities and weekly development programs to help you grow into the salesperson you want to be, with a goal to advance and grow within our organization.


In-office work will be required four days per week for this position, with Friday being an optional remote day. We aim to create a team environment where SDRs can learn and grow together.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Raise awareness and generate interest in the HUNGRY platform through cold calling, emails, and social outreach to prospective customers
  • Work closely with your Account Executives to execute account strategy and mapping
  • Schedule initial discovery calls for Account Executives
  • Meet or exceed assigned daily activity minimums of 80-100 activities
  • Monitor territory activity of key accounts, buyer profiles and job changes.
  • Provide constructive feedback on how to improve effectiveness and efficiency within the SDR role to SDR Managers and Sales Enablement team.
  • Collaborate with assigned AEs in order to effectively conduct outreach to your assigned territory.


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Looking for candidates with 0-2 years of formal sales experience.
  • Prior sales experience is a plus, as is having participated in competitive activities or entrepreneurial pursuits.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High degree of resilience, enabling you to bounce back from setbacks and rejections. Cold calling experience for any purpose is a plus.
  • Team player mindset: you strive to grow and develop and never back down from a challenge
  • Extremely coachable and willing to receive and implement feedback


Salary: Annual salary of $50k, with On-Target Earnings of $64,400 (all HUNGRY commission plans are uncapped).
