Interior Design Firm in Manhattan is seeking an Bookkeeper/Office Administrator.
The ideal candidate will be extremely organized, adept at working on multiple projects at once, and highly self-motivated. This role involves providing general administrative support, data entry, bookkeeping, and assisting with both professional and personal tasks for the principal.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Entry- Enter bills and invoices into Studio Designer software.
Assist on the transition from QuickBooks Online to Studios Designer.
AR - Monthly Client billing.
Prepare customer invoices promptly and accurately.
A/P - Tracking expenses, printing checks.
Maintain accurate records of all AP transactions and payment history.
Assist with maintaining office supplies and ensuring office organization.
Coordinate with outside IT and HR consultants.
Tracking employee PTO.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion in dealing with sensitive information.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data entry.
QuickBooks Online Experience for at least 5 years.
Willingness to learn Studio Designer software.
Strong organizational skills with an ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
Knowledge of bookkeeping practices.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Administrative experience: 2 years (Preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 5 years (Required)
