What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Nanny position at Hunny Nanny Agency?
Position Overview
A professional, full-time nanny is needed to care for a 1 year-old and a 3-year-old in a loving family environment. The ideal candidate will be reliable, nurturing, and experienced with children in this age group.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- Strong preference for flexibility on Tuesdays, with the ability to stay until 8:00 PM (not a dealbreaker, but highly preferred)
- No weekend, overnight, or on-call responsibilities required
Responsibilities
- Provide nurturing and attentive care for both children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Engage in age-appropriate activities, including outdoor play, reading, and hands-on learning.
- Assist with light household tasks related to the children, including laundry, meal prep, and tidying play areas.
- Support developmental milestones, including structured routines and baby-led weaning.
- Follow breastfeeding and bottle-feeding guidelines for the infant. The family’s 13-month-old is now fully weaned during the day. It would be rare for a nanny to need to give the child a bottle in the morning, except in the event of the mother’s travel for a conference.
- Facilitate outings and playdates in walkable neighborhood areas.
- Maintain open and respectful communication with parents.
- Preschool pick up/drop off, this might start soon for the second half of the 24-25 school year

- Enthusiasm for early childhood development and engagement.
- Balanced personality—engaging yet respectful of space and boundaries.
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable with structured routines while maintaining flexibility.
- Ability to follow household preferences, including minimal screen time and dietary guidelines.
