Description

Hunt Advantage Group (H-ADV) is a master distributor of the national brand Hunt Brothers® Pizza food program that procures proprietary products and sells these products to four (4) distributors spread across 23 remote distribution centers in 21 states.  Their primary function is to procure goods in the form of Hunt Brothers® Pizza, branded pizza shoppes, pizza preparation equipment, frozen and canned packed food products, advertising, and promotion materials from third party vendors for use in Hunt Brothers® Pizza and chicken retail business.

PWL, one of the four (4) distributors, develops Hunt Brothers® Pizza programs across 19 states through more than 3500 (and growing) customers. As a food distributor, PWL operates upwards of 130 commercial motor vehicles, which include long haul tractor trailers, vans, and midsize commercial vehicles, as well as support and sales vehicles.

H-ADV/PWL’s purpose is to “create opportunities for families through love and pizza™” through 250 Team Members, customer development and community outreach. This is segment-dominating penetration, with more growth opportunities to come.

Position Summary

The FP&A Analyst will be responsible for supporting financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical processes for a growing business with multiple entities. The analyst will deliver insights on financial performance, identify trends, and provide data-driven recommendations to leadership to enhance decision-making. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Analysis and Reporting:
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and dashboards for senior management.
    • Analyze financial results including preparing variance analysis of actual results compared to forecasts and budgets.
    • Provide financial modeling and sensitivity analysis to support business initiatives.
    • Provide ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis as required.
  2. Forecasting & Budgeting:
    • Support the development and maintenance of financial forecasts (monthly, quarterly, and annually) including income and cash flow statements.
    • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and long-term strategic financial plans.
    • Work closely with company leaders to ensure accurate and timely forecasting.
  3. Strategic Support:
    • Partner cross-functionally with departments such as Accounting, Sales, Operations, and HR to evaluate the financial impact of business decisions.
    • Present key financial insights to senior leadership, explaining complex data in an understandable way.
    • Participate in scenario planning and risk assessments.
    • Assist in identifying and implementing efficiency improvements across the business.

Qualifications


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a similar finance role.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial planning software / tools.
  • Experience with financial reporting tools and enterprise systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • High self-motivation, independence and self-initiated learning.
