Independently performs discipline assignments and leads projects of various scales and takes an active role in business development and project pursuits.What you will doSame as Associate Vice President, plus the following Essential Functions.Effective and persuasive leadership, comfortable with all levels of staff, public and other.Management skills and ability to manage day-to-day project and operational responsibilities.Strong interpersonal and public relation skills to work effectively with various officials, staff, and clients.Strong organizational skills.Strong project oversight skills, ability to review and edit technical reports, presentations, drawings, etc.Ability to understand, “read the room”, and manage high-profile, sensitive, and / or controversial political situations.Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.Ability to exercise sound, independent judgement.Thorough knowledge and use of CGL internal Project Management protocols.Knowledgeable of the contracting process with clients, associate partners, and consultants, in consultation with Market Sector Director or ROL.Recognized as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the industry and among clients and peers.Speaks at conferences, writes articles, participates in or chairs committees.Ability to identify, champion, and close new business 360 opportunities.Independently prepares RFQ / P, with strategic input from Market Sector Director and / or ROL.Ability to identify and follow-up on project leads, coordinate BD pre-sale activities, and build relationships with potential clients, with input from Market Sector Director and / or ROL.Independently sets strategies for pursuit with input from Market Sector Director and / or ROL.Develops capture plans for assigned project pursuits, with input from Market Sector Director and / or ROL.Ability to negotiate scope and fees, develop fee proposals, and develop MOUs by shadowing supervision of a Market Sector Director and / or ROL.Excellent presentation skills.Excellent verbal, written, and graphic skills.Knowledgeable of life-safety, building codes, zoning ordinances, and standards, and the application on architectural projects.Independently applies advanced architectural concepts.Ability to run and manage a small to large size architectural projects independently.Application of internal BIM Standards.Considerable knowledge of architectural means and methods.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Architecture Required.Master's Degree in Architecture Preferred.Supervisory experience Required.Competency in various computer software programs such as Revit, Bluebeam.Competency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Competency with 3D modeling programs, Rhino, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign a plus.Requires a detail-oriented, self-starter, who takes initiative, prioritizes, and multi-tasks in a busy environment.Registered Architect (RA) Required.CompensationWe are committed to offering competitive and equitable compensation. The hiring range for this position is generally between $96,000.00 to $142,000.00, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus. Final salaries will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, licenses, certifications, and / or experience.
