ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Project Assistant is responsible for providing a range of general administrative, and project support to Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Estimators, and Designers.
- Obtain and track information needed to support the bidding process.
- Download and print electrical drawings.
- Facilitate panel schedule requests and preparation.
- Prepare folders, letters and documents as requested.
- Complete O & M manuals.
- Process Submittals and Lien Waivers.
- Request Certificates of Insurance.
- Process Change Orders.
- Provide receptionist back up as scheduled.
- Complete the “close-out” process with assistance of project managers.
- Field questions from field foremen in the absence of a project manager.
- Payroll issues/approval weekly.
- Tool/Equipment job management.
- Facilitate service billings and budgets.
- Create work orders for service and generator projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years of Administrative Support experience.
- Knowledge of Construction Industry, Electrical Contracting or Building Trades preferred.
- Intermediate skills in MS Word and Excel with ability to learn internal Software system.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
