What are the responsibilities and job description for the AV Apprentice Technician position at Hunt Electric?
Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking an AV Apprentice Technician to join our team. The AV Apprentice Technician is a full time position with opportunities to grow and expand your knowledge in our Audio Visual/Technology Division.
As a full-time AV Apprentice Technician, you would also be eligible for an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, life insurance, short and long-term disability, a 401(k) plan, and paid personal time (PTO).
Major Duties:
- Effective time management skills.
- Understand safety principles.
- Take Direction from Superiors and demonstrate teamwork.
- Pulling Cable and installing speaker, displays, and AV racks.
- Learn how to read construction drawings.
- Learn to terminate copper network cabling.
- Ability to learn/understand AV signal flow.
- Ability to learn quality craftsmanship and exude excellent customer service.
- Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
- Hold safety in high regard.
- Be punctual.
- Able to lift 50lbs.
- Have own tools per tool list.
- Good communications skills.
- Copper pair termination exposure.

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm and Friday 7:00am - 2:00pm.
