What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Pre Apprentice position at Hunt Electric?
Hunt Electric, Inc. of Salt Lake City, UT is looking for motivated and hardworking individuals that are interested in becoming Electricians through our Pre Apprentice Electrician Program. This full-time Pre Apprentice Electrician Position is our starting point for becoming a Licensed Electrical Apprentice. As a Pre-Apprentice, you will work for Hunt Electric in a controlled environment to get a basic understanding of Safety, Tools, Equipment, Material, and Fundamentals of Electrical Construction.
MAJOR DUTIES:
- Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, with a goal-oriented mindset for continual growth.
- Have a “Can-Do” positive attitude.
- Be a self-starter.
- Be dependable.
- Learn to think like an owner and to live the “Quality, Integrity, Performance and Versatility” creed
QUALIFICATIONS OF AN PRE-APPRENTICE:
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Must have a Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Ability to lift 100lbs
- Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager
This full-time position receives a competitive salary commensurate with experience and position responsibilities. As a full-time Pre Apprentice Electrician, you would also be eligible for an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, life insurance, short and long-term disability, a 401(k) plan, and paid personal time (PTO).
