What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Idaho Electrical Apprentice position at Hunt Electric?
Hunt Electric, Inc of Boise, ID is searching for a full-time Licensed Electrical Apprentice to join our team.
Major Duties:
- Demonstrate knowledge of the National Electric Code
- Pull wire
- Bend 1/2 " to 3/4" conduit
- Read and understand blue prints and schematics
- Adapt to changing codes
- Install control circuits and other components
- Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager
Qualifications of an Electrical Apprentice:
- Be enrolled in the appropriate apprentice-level school program
- Have an active Idaho State apprentice license
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Must have a Valid Drivers License
- Ability to pass a background check, drug, and functional capacity test
- Ability to lift up to 100lbs
- Must have full set of tools for the trade
- Be a self-starter
- Be dependable
- Learn to think like an owner and to live the “Quality, Integrity, Performance and Versatility” creed
- Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a “Can-Do” positive attitude.
- Must have experience in commercial new construction / Multifamily residential
- The Licensed Electrical Apprentice must complete the number of hours required for each year in the program (a minimum of 2,000 hours of “on-the-job” training for each year of his / her apprenticeship).
This full-time position receives a competitive salary commensurate with experience and position responsibilities.
