Hunt Electric, Inc. of Salt Lake City, UT is searching for a full-time Production Manager to join our team within the Instrument Control Company Division. This position requires self-motivation and self-management of work with strong interpersonal skills to meet with users in a face-to-face environment.
We are looking for a Production Manager with manufacturing experience with the ability to multi task, have leadership abilities to mentor and direct a team of manufacturing individuals.
Major Duties:
- Responsible for the company’s manufacturing/production processes and ensuring that these processes stay within budget and meet client timelines.
- Tracks and maintains proper material inventory to meet project demands.
- Supervises and coordinates the manufacturing inventory, shipping, and receiving team.
- Works closely with the project management office to understand project timelines and what material will be procured by project management for each project.
- Creates and executes manufacturing schedules.
- Schedules routine maintenance and keeps equipment, and tools in sound working order.
- Oversees quality control and assurance to ensure that UL-listed product quality standards are met.
- Inspires, motivates, and encourages team members.
- Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years of manufacturing experience as a production manager or production lead
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong project management skills.
- Highly detail-oriented.
- Ability to coach and inspire employees.
- Commitment to a long-term opportunity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Adept with Auto Cad and other design software, including Visio.
- Understanding of instrument controls and electrical panels
