Hunt Forest Products in Pollock, LA is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operators. This full-time position is just the start to a vast and long-term career in wood manufacturing. T his position is only for candidates with 2 years of safe and accurate heavy equipment experience. Previous experience front-end loaders and skidders is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities :
- Load and unload wood blocks from saws, vats and lathe.
- Empty spinout deck, sorting blocks. Accurately loading good blocks to vats and bad blocks into chipper.
- Perform daily equipment checks and document. Clean equipment weekly.
- Emptying the core bins
- Maintaining vat heating at the direction of your supervisor.
- Servicing your machine at designated times as instructed by your supervisor.
- Keeping work area clean.
- Adhere to specified vat rotation.
- Assist others, including the deck person when deck clogged.
- Report any condition that may hinder the performance of equipment or personnel.
- Perform any additional duties required by supervisors.
- Interacts with others and performs work in a professional manner.
- Follow all company safety rules and PPE use.
- Follow all company rules and procedures regarding daily work activity.
