Position Summary & Duties : We are seeking an experienced Pipeline Project Engineer to support a leading energy client with two pipeline systems (400 miles total). Embedded within the client's Houston office, this role manages fiber crossing requests, land development projects, pipeline crossings, and encroachment backlogs.
Pipeline Project Engineer Responsibilities :
- Manage 2-5 fiber crossing requests and 5-12 development / crossing projects monthly.
- Progress a backlog of 50 encroachment projects using established client processes.
- Conduct technical assessments, ensuring pipeline integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Utilize AutoCAD, GIS, and project management tools.
- Work on-site at client's Houston office 3-4 days / week with flexibility to work remotely remainder of the week.
- Project anticipated to last 6-months with potential to extend based on workload.
