Position Summary & Duties : Hunt, Guillot & Associates (HGA) is seeking a Strategic Accounts Manager with a background in Engineering Consulting. This role focuses on generating new business and strengthening client relationships in the engineering consulting space. Strategic Accounts Manager Key Responsibilities :
- Develop new business opportunities in engineering consulting services across multiple industries (oil & gas, pulp & paper, specialty chemicals, renewables).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Pursue sales leads via cold calling, networking, and industry events.
- Prepare and present technical sales presentations.
- Collaborate with internal teams on proposal development and negotiations.
- Gather and analyze client data to align solutions with their needs.Qualifications : Strategic Accounts Manager Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field (or Associate's Degree with relevant experience).
- 5 years of business development experience in engineering consulting.
- Established contacts in relevant industries (oil & gas, pulp & paper, chemicals, renewables).
- Proficient in MS Office and social media networking (LinkedIn, etc.).
- Experience with budgeting, proposal development, and negotiations.
