We are seeking an experienced Advertising, Marketing & Promotions Associate or Counsel with at least seven years of relevant experience to join a top international law firm in its Denver, CO office. In this position, you will :

Draft and negotiate various advertising-related agreements, including influencer, celebrity endorsement, sponsorship, ad agency, and media buying contracts.
Review advertising materials to ensure compliance with laws related to false advertising, claim substantiation, intellectual property, and publicity rights.
Counsel clients on compliance for contests, sweepstakes, subscription programs, and loyalty / rewards programs.
Advise clients on consumer protection and marketing issues across diverse industries.
Defend clients against allegations of false advertising, unfair competition, and other regulatory challenges.
Monitor and adapt to emerging trends and legal developments in advertising and consumer protection law.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience and Expertise

Years of Practice : Minimum of 7 years of experience in advertising law, consumer protection, and marketing transactions.

Substantive Knowledge : Expertise in drafting agreements, compliance counseling, and dispute resolution.

Preferred Background : Experience in false advertising, unfair competition, and National Advertising Division disputes is advantageous.

Educational Credentials

Juris Doctor (JD) : Degree from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.

Bar Membership : Active Colorado State Bar license or eligibility to waive in.

Core Competencies

Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in collaborative environments.

Exceptional legal research, writing, and communication skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
