The Role : Real Estate Transactions Counsel | Chicago, IL
We are seeking a Real Estate Transactions Counsel to join one of our prestigious clients' Real Estate Practice Group in their Chicago office. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and engage in impactful real estate matters within a collaborative and innovative environment.

In this position, you will :
- Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, and property management and leasing agreements.
- Provide strategic legal counsel for joint ventures, borrower-side financing, and real estate fund structuring.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to navigate and complete high-stakes real estate transactions.
- Work on complex real estate finance matters, including cross-border transactions and large-scale commercial projects.
- Maintain strong client relationships by delivering exceptional service and strategic advice.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate for this Real Estate Transactions Counsel role is a highly skilled legal professional with broad transactional real estate experience and a collaborative, client-focused approach.
Key attributes of the ideal candidate include :
5 years of broad transactional real estate experience, including drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, property management agreements, and leasing agreements.
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and negotiation.
Client Service : Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
