We are currently seeking a Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering Intern for the Strategic Purchasing department located in our Dallas, TX office. This is a paid summer internship opportunity with housing provided if needed.
The intern will participate in the Contractor Management Application (CMA) implementation project. They will assist with integrating the newly inhouse IT built system and how it impacts vendor relationships, vendor tracking, KPI management and other functions to improve the overall Contractor Management process.

Responsibilities
- Manage the implementation of the CMA and provide a smooth transition to end users.
- Participate in testing, troubleshooting, enhancements, and other improvements for the CMA to provide users access, awareness, and compliance.
- Assist office and field operations teams, including the drilling and completions team, with other procurement/supply chain requirements.
- Gain an understanding of best practices in purchasing and strategic sourcing.
- Rising junior or senior pursuing an undergraduate degree in Supply Chain or Industrial. Engineering/Distribution.
- Minimum of 3.0 grade point average.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain, Engineering, Inventory Control, Business Process, SAP.
- Experience working in a technical environment and knowledge of IT systems.
- Willingness to interact consistently with stakeholders, end users and third parties.
- Self-starter, proactive, and excellent work ethic.
- Exceptional creativity and the ability to think outside the box.
- Outgoing personality that thrives on communication and interactions.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and areas of responsibility concurrently.
- Ability to provide academic transcripts.
