Shifts Available:
Afternoon shift (Monday-Thursday) 2:30pm-10:45pm
Role Purpose:
The Compounder batches a large variety of raw material to create cosmetic, toiletry, and drug product formulas in accordance with the company SOP’s, GMP’s and government regulations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Batches liquids
Plans and coordinates equipment and facility requirements to meet short and long term scheduling objectives.
May assist in developing more junior staff through training.
Improves the profitability by output and efficiency of the batch.
Follows GMP procedures in compliance with government and corporate regulations/guidelines.
Follows SOP’s in compliance with government GMP’s and corporate objectives.
Ensures the schedule is followed to meet set timelines.
Responsibilities may include manufacturing pilot batches and participating in troubleshooting problem batches.
Qualifications and Experience:
B.Sc. in Sciences is desired but not required.
3 years of compounding experience.
The ability to multi-task and work under pressure
Basic math skills
Problem solving, decision making skills and troubleshooting capabilities
Physical Demands:
Standing and walking for extended periods of time
Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
Pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds
Repetitive movement over extended periods
