Hunter Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced veterinary technician assistant to join our amazing team.
Our hospital offers full service, comprehensive medical care, routine and advanced surgical procedures and dental care for dogs and cats. We emphasize affordable preventative care for pets and compassionate, personalized service to families. We are the neighborhood animal hospital for the residents of West Valley City, Magna, Kearns, Taylorsville, West Jordan, Murray and other parts of the West Salt Lake Valley.
Job responsibilities include:
Assisting the veterinary medical team in patient care including but not limited to; blood draws, I.V. catheter placement, client education, medication administration/education as prescribed by the veterinarian, anesthetic monitoring and recovery, dentistry, radiology, perform in-house lab tests, prepare specimens for outside lab testing, surgical instrument cleaning and sterilizing, animal positioning/restraint, prescription refills, provide cleaning for patients and facility.
Must be at least 18 years or older, and have reliable transportation. Equal Opportunity employer. Background and Drug Screen may apply.

We are open Monday - Friday 8am -5:30pm and Saturdays 8:00am - 12:30pm. We are closed Sundays. There are no on call shifts.
