Job Title: Application Support Engineer
Client: FinTech
Salary: Up to $170,000 Bonus/Benefits
Location: New York (Hybrid)
Role:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all system and application inquiries and issues from US users, handling a wide range of technical tasks and business-related investigations. Focus on providing efficient solutions and maintaining clear communication throughout. You will collaborate closely with development teams and the UK-based support team to relay user needs, identify recurring support challenges (including root causes), and suggest improvements to enhance platform support moving forward.
The right candidate will have the following:
- Experience supporting a varied and dynamic environment within a hedge fund\ investment bank or similar with some product knowledge in varied asset classes.
- Good understanding of SQL
- IT knowledge including.NET and\or Java technologies.
- Good interpersonal skills and a pro-active attitude.
