Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive data solutions for real-time production data insights.
- Lead decisions on technology stacks and third-party tools.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines from various manufacturing systems.
- Manage data warehouses/lakes, ensuring user accessibility and proper documentation.
- Develop web-based tools for automated data collection and reporting.
- Enable technical staff in creating and maintaining data portals, dashboards, and performance reports.
- Implement data validation and cleansing processes.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, operational tech, and QA teams to align data solutions with business needs.
- Integrate manufacturing systems with ERP and Oracle Agile.
- Stay updated on industry trends to enhance data infrastructure.
- Focus on practical outcomes supporting manufacturing and business objectives.
- Guide junior team members, promoting learning and growth.
- Must be located within 50 miles of Ontario, California.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field with a specialization in data science/engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in data engineering.
- Advanced knowledge of data engineering tools and technologies, such as SQL, Python, ETL processes, BI Tools, and data warehousing solutions.
- Minimum of 3 years in designing and implementing data models for Data Warehousing solutions.
- Minimum 4 years in creating data visualizations and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Familiarity with designing and developing basic web-based applications.
- Exposure to manufacturing systems such as MES, ERP, and SCADA.
- Familiarity with key manufacturing metrics and operational performance measurements.
