Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing SAP functional domains: manufacturing process, quality management, procurement, plant maintenance, materials management, financial accounting, and controlling.
- Liaise with SAP Center of Excellence teams to ensure user community requirements are addressed.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and work with stakeholders to implement changes.
- Assist local user communities through the lifecycle of tickets and during user acceptance testing.
- Provide inputs for prioritization during SAP Change Advisory Board meetings.
- Ensure consistency between SAP solution and MES solution.
- Develop test plans and perform quality control over system testing.
- Provide business support by troubleshooting issues and recommending solutions.
- Contribute to processes ensuring SOX compliance.
- Update documentation shared with SAP CoE, external providers, and key users.
- Engage the local key user community through training and updates.
- Develop robust business cases for each proposed project and change request.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.
- Must be within a commutable distance of Muscle Shoals, Alabama and willing to work on-site five days a week.
- Minimum five years of experience with SAP ECC 6.0 or higher.
- Five years of experience in an international IT-environment within manufacturing.
- Experience with at least one SAP full life cycle implementation.
- Strong knowledge in at least three of the following functional areas: PM, FI/CO, PUR, PP, QM, MM.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in CIS, Engineering, or relevant field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Broad experience of SAP from both technical and functional perspectives.
- Knowledge of SAP interfaces with external systems and EDI.
- Understanding of the ITIL framework.
- Competence and enthusiasm for improving business processes.
