Grades 7-12 Spanish and French Teacher (substitute) for one year with possibility of renewal.
General Duties: Hunter College High School, a grade 7-12 school for intellectually gifted students, seeks a Teacher to teach both Spanish and French to Middle schoolers and High Schoolers. Teacher must have classroom experience; works collaboratively with colleagues, administrators, and other learning specialists; maintains communications with parents and guardians; and performs related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. MS desirable. Fluent in Spanish and French. Teaching experience at the MS and HS level preferred.
Preferred qualifications: Experienced teaching in diverse schools, experience in developing curriculum content that relates to multiple perspectives and learning styles, demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with students from a variety of backgrounds.
Compensation: Hunter College Campus Schools Salary Level for one-year replacements range from 64,789 - 83,672, depending on the academic accomplishments and experience.
