Sales Manager (Water Treatment)

Remote position in the USA

Travel as needed

Compensation :  Starting at $130k (flexible base)  uncapped commission

Position Overview :

The Sales Manager / Senior Sales Manager (USA) will be a key player in driving the growth of the company’s reverse osmosis membranes across all water and wastewater treatment markets and applications. This position demands a highly motivated and technically skilled sales professional with a strong background in water treatment technologies, particularly membrane systems. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of success in sales, coupled with a robust network within the industry, to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.

In addition to technical expertise, the role requires experience navigating multiple sales channels and a demonstrated ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced, startup environment. A deep understanding of the diverse applications of reverse osmosis membranes and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders will be essential for success in this role. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to make a significant impact in a growing and dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to grow the company's market

presence across the USA.

  • Identify and build relationships with key decision-makers AT THE END USER,
  • ENGINEERING, AND OEM LEVELS

  • Drive sales of reverse osmosis membranes, targeting customers with needs in water
  • purification and filtration.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering and product development teams to offer tailored
  • solutions that meet customer requirements.

  • Act as a technical advisor to customers, providing insights into system design,
  • performance, and maintenance.

  • Manage and mentor a growing sales team as the company scales.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events.
  • Provide regular market feedback and sales forecasts to executive leadership.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitors, and advancements in water treatment
  • technologies.

    Qualifications :

  • Proven track record in selling reverse osmosis systems or water treatment membranes
  • Strong technical knowledge of water AND WASTEWATER filtration and purification
  • technologies, including experience with reverse osmosis.

  • Ability to operate effectively in a startup environment with limited resources and evolving
  • priorities.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical
  • concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental sciences, or a related field is
  • preferred.

  • Willingness to travel extensively as needed.
