The Opportunity:
We are seeking a collaborative and results-oriented Showroom Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will become the central information hub and sales strategist, playing a crucial role in driving success within our showroom. You will collaborate with the sales team, fostering a positive and high-performing environment, while developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve growth.
Responsibilities:
- Provide front desk support, warmly greeting and directing showroom visitors and clients.
- Respond to inquiries and provide general information about our products and services.
- Serve as receptionist, efficiently answering and directing telephone calls and managing messages.
- Accurately input data into our computer system, maintain records, and generate reports as needed.
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings and appointments, and send out reminders.
- Assist with monitoring and maintaining inventory levels of office and program supplies, including ordering and receiving.
- Proficiently use Office software programs (spreadsheets, word processing, presentations) and Google software.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
- Oversee all aspects of the showroom operation, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment.
- Collaborate with the sales team to deliver exceptional customer service and exceed sales targets.
- Act as the information center for the showroom, staying current on all business updates, product knowledge, and customer needs.
- Partner with sales team to develop in-depth product knowledge and refine customer service techniques.
- Leverage CRM tools (like Salesforce) to manage customer data, track sales activity, and nurture leads through the pipeline.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns that drive traffic and brand awareness.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and optimize the showroom experience to meet customer needs.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a showroom or retail environment.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals (individually or in a team setting).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and inspire others.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of customer service best practices.
- Passion for sales and a commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences.1-3 years of office experience in a similar reception or administrative role preferred.
- Excellent scheduling, telephone etiquette, and typing skills.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google software.
- Solid documentation and meeting planning skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and administrative writing skills.
- Demonstrated dependability and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time effectively and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods, bend at the waist, kneel or crouch, lift up to 25 lbs, and reach overhead for supplies.
