As an Assembler:
What you will do:
- Assemble products by fastening parts together using bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners.
- Operate hand tools or portable power tools to assist in the assembly operation.
- Position parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled and/or following blueprints.
- Remove small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce close fit between parts.
- Frequent standing, lifting, and moving materials up to 50 lbs.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Additional Qualifications Include:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in calibration of final units and other electronic, electrical, or mechanical assemblies.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Ability to read simple blueprints.
- Ability to follow directions and have attention to details.
