The purpose of this position is to fully support the continuous improvement team in creating, improving, and refining processes and product flow through the manufacturing floor. The selected candidate will gain vast experience in collecting statistical data for improving systems and processes which will result in productivity gains.
The Industrial Engineering / Industrial Technology Engineering Co-Op offers a set onsite schedule of 40 hours per week.
Start Date: June / August 2025
End Date: December 2025
What you will do:
- Perform job observations to identify wastes and recommend solutions for improvement.
- Perform line flow observations to identify bottlenecks and provide solutions for improvement.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement event.
- Assist Materials management in Kanban system improvements.
- All additional duties assigned by supervisor.
Additional Qualifications Include:
- Major study in:
- Industrial Engineering or Industrial Technology Engineering.
- Positive attitude with a desire to be hands-on.
- Willingness to participate in team project events.
- Ability to be self-directed at times.
