This role is for the assembly department in our Metal Fabrication Plant on the 1st Shift (7 am- 3:30 pm), Monday through Friday with overtime.
- An associate degree is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong planning, communication, and organizational skills

As a Production Supervisor, you are responsible for meeting aggressive production requirements while maintaining a safety, quality, and production culture.
What you will do:
- Direct hourly manufacturing workforce to meet company/departmental objectives.
- Provide training and cross-training for all employees to ensure a versatile workforce.
- Complete all routine paperwork, reports, timecards, and schedules in accordance with company/departmental objectives.
- Effectively communicate with peers, subordinates, and management
- Support and implement management philosophy and vision.
- Contribute and make recommendations to control and reduce departmental and overall costs.
- Lead 6s and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Additional Qualifications Include:
- Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree in business management/administration preferred.
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven team-building and supervisory skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills and MS Office experience
- Strong planning and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and technical expertise
- Knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, and inventory
- Ability to create accountability and to lead by example.
