The Purchasing Co-Op will assist the Buyer in side-line research related to the procurement of supplies and services needed to support the Durant facility. Also, they will assist the Ops Planning section with data research related to parts internally and externally for plant support.
The Purchasing Co-Op offers a set onsite schedule of 40 hours per week.
Start Date: May 2025
End Date: December 2025
What you will do:
- The Co-Op will assist the buyer with:
- Research invoice questions from the accounting department.
- Investigate receiving issues daily from the Durant receiving department.
- Maintain the MRO spreadsheet with data entry on purchase histories.
- Issue releases from blanket purchasing agreements approved by the proper authorities.
- Assist the buyer with locating sources and contact information on vendors.
- Other tasks related to the upcoming IFS implementation as needed.
- Additional duties assisting Ops Planning Dept:
- Work instruction creation.
- Data validation.
- Other tasks related to IFS implementation as needed.
Additional Qualifications Include:
- Major study in Business or Engineering fields.
- Applicable work experience preferred.
