Job Overview
We are seeking an Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with assembling and working with various tools and technologies in a manufacturing setting.
Duties
- Assemble components accurately, thoroughly, and quickly to approved specifications
- Utilize power tools and hand tools for assembly tasks
- Inspect parts for defects and quality issues
- Follow schematics and blueprints to complete assemblies
- Perform electrical wiring and soldering tasks
- Conduct testing using an ohmmeter to ensure proper functionality
- Apply knowledge of IPC 610 standards for soldering and assembly work
- Work with surface mount technology (SMT) components
- Possess mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues
Requirements
- Previous experience in assembly work, preferably in PCB assembly
- Familiarity with power tools, ohmmeters, and soldering equipment
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Proficiency in electrical wiring techniques
- Knowledge of IPC 610 standards is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
