Global chemical manufacturer is looking for a Procurement Specialist. This position would be supporting the procurement team with system related tasks for direct and indirect teams. This position is a long term temporary assignment 6 months with potential for extension and possibly conversion in future. This is a hybrid opportunity, M-F, 3 days per week in office in Northbrook.

- Direct Materials Price Hold Resolutions
- SAP Plant Maintenance Source List Clean-up
- Indirect Failed PO Transmission Reviews
- Service Sheet Reconciliations
- PO Closures
- Participate in system testing for key implementation projects
Requirements
- 1 years’ experience within procurement
- Associates degree or higher in Business, Operations, or Accounting is preferred
- SAP and Ariba experience preferred
- Highly proficient Verbal & Written Communication skills,
- Proficient with Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Problem Solving, and Analytical skills
