We’re on the lookout for bright minds to join our summer internship program and embark on a journey of growth, learning, and hands-on experience! An internship with Hunter Industries complements university coursework, provides first-hand experience of working in the real world, and the opportunity to develop relevant skills and knowledge for career readiness.
The Experience:
- Project Scopes: Each intern is assigned a specific project that contributes value to the Company.

- Final Showcase: Interns will share their journey and achievements through a presentation to a large group of leaders and peers at the end of the program.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Copywriter Intern, you will help develop the global marketing communications for one or more of the three new products that Hunter Industries will launch in Q3 2025. The main objective you will achieve will be to help launch a new product by developing the communications that inform our customers about its main purpose, key features and benefits, release date, and more. To achieve this, you will:
- Develop a new product launch copy plan, which will include emails, social media posts, web copy, and presentation content as well as a homepage banner and press release.
- Work cross-functionally with multiple departments to gather key information, craft the copy, and gain final approval of written content.
- Conduct research, interview subject matter experts, organize and filter content down to the most essential details, and present it in a compelling way.
- Ensure all copy communicates a strong message and complies with Hunter branding and style by reviewing the final version in layout.
- Manage a project and regularly report on the current status with an eye on how that project fits into the company’s larger objectives.
What You’ll Learn:
While gaining experience working in a fast-paced Marketing Department for a growing global corporation, you will learn to:
- Write informative and engaging copy that persuades customers to seek more information about Hunter products; specifically, the intern will learn to write a variety of marketing materials, including emails, social media posts, web copy, presentation content, homepage banners, press releases, ads, and written specs.
- Collaborate with team members across the organization to develop creative and technical copy for print and digital communications.
- Use proofreading and project management software that streamlines work and saves time.
- Become a brand watchdog, ensuring that every communication uses the proper voice, tone, style, and trademarks.
- Use established processes to complete work efficiently.
What We’re Looking For:
- Driven college students, or recent college graduates, with a major or degree in Journalism, Communications, or English
- Determined go-getters with excellent research skills who embrace challenges
- Organized individuals that are eager to learn
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities in copywriting, technical writing, communication, and Microsoft Office
Selected candidates must be available to work on-site and full-time between June and August.

Other Job Functions:
Performs other related tasks as assigned, some of which may become essential to the position.
It is the responsibility of all Hunter employees to keep themselves and others safe. Physical Demands:
Ability to sit for extended periods of time to use the computer, to perform paperwork activities, to attend meetings, etc. Intermittent walking to gain access to areas within the facility.
Ability to climb stairs to gain access to the upper-level work area.
Finger dexterity sufficient to use a computer and to complete paperwork activities.
Visual acuity sufficient to use a computer and to read and complete written documents.
Hearing sufficient to communicate with individuals by telephone and in person.
Ability to bend, lift and carry books, files and office supplies and other items weighing up to 30 pounds.
Work Environment:
Office setting with temperature controls.
