We’re on the lookout for bright minds to join our summer internship program and embark on a journey of growth, learning, and hands-on experience! An internship with Hunter Industries complements university coursework, provides first-hand experience of working in the real world, and the opportunity to develop relevant skills and knowledge for career readiness.
The Experience:
- Project Scopes: Each intern is assigned a specific project that contributes value to the Company.

- Final Showcase: Interns will share their journey and achievements through a presentation to a large group of leaders and peers at the end of the program.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As an SEO & Data Analytics Intern, you will play a key role in optimizing the organization's digital presence through strategic updates and enhancements to hunterirrigation.com and fxl.com. This project aims to modernize SEO strategies, address user experience pain points, and leverage industry trends to ensure improved visibility and functionality. You will achieve this goal by:
- Conducting an in-depth analysis of SEO performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement
- Addressing user pain points by implementing targeted search improvements to better meet support needs
- Driving measurable outcomes such as improved call deflection rates and increased customer satisfaction
- Utilize analytics to track the performance of updates and ensure continuous improvement.
- Benchmark against competitors to identify opportunities to improve search rankings.
- Develop and implement updated strategies to align with current search engine algorithms and best practices
What You’ll Learn:
You will have the opportunity to increase proficiency in problem-solving, communication, aligning SEO and content strategies for maximum reach, project management, and analytical and data insights of enterprise-level web applications. You will work closely with a mentor and collaborate with your team to gain hands-on training and work with real industry-used tools to solve problems in real data-driven scenarios.
What We’re Looking For:
- Driven college students, or recent college graduates, with a major or degree in Marketing, Statistics, Computer Science or Web Development
- Determined go-getters with excellent problem-solving skills who embrace challenges
- Organized individuals that are eager to learn
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities in SEO, Google Analytics, HTML/CSS, data analysis, structured data, A/B testing, and traffic growth
Selected candidates must be available to work on-site and full-time between June and August.

Other Job Functions:
Performs other related tasks as assigned, some of which may become essential to the position.
It is the responsibility of all Hunter employees to keep themselves and others safe. Physical Demands:
Ability to sit for extended periods of time to use the computer, to perform paperwork activities, to attend meetings, etc. Intermittent walking to gain access to areas within the facility.
Ability to climb stairs to gain access to the upper-level work area.
Finger dexterity sufficient to use a computer and to complete paperwork activities.
Visual acuity sufficient to use a computer and to read and complete written documents.
Hearing sufficient to communicate with individuals by telephone and in person.
Ability to bend, lift and carry books, files and office supplies and other items weighing up to 30 pounds.
Work Environment:
Office setting with temperature controls.
