About This Role:
The Test Technician I performs standard testing processes on a variety of equipment and records and analyzes results. Maintains test room equipment and assists in specialized testing.

Essential Job Functions/Tasks:
- Performs standard testing processes on a variety of equipment and records and analyzes results.
- Performs a variety of non-routine and non-repetitive mechanical and/or test operations on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies.
- Assists in determining methods and sequences of operation where complete information is not available.
- In coordination with Design, Sustaining, and Manufacturing Engineering, conducts Hunter Test Methods [HTMs] and Design Verification Testing [DVT] for New Product and Competitor Product evaluation.
- Performs tests as requested by customers.
- Assists in prioritizing test requests and reviewing finished results before distribution.
- Assists monitoring and maintaining all test facility equipment.
- Troubleshoots for life cycle testing and documents results when requested.
- Implements established testing procedures for R&D products. Tracks products through all phases of testing until the product is approved for production.
Education/Training Required and Preferred:
- Associate degree or a combination of education and relevant work experience.
Experience Required and Preferred:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the field or related area.
What You Bring:
- Knowledge of industry specific tests and equipment
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interface with all levels of employees.
- Computer experience.
- Irrigation experience desirable preferred.

The hourly rate for this opportunity ranges from $21.17 to $28.67
The Company complies with all federal/local/state regulations in regard to pay. The above represents the expected hourly range for this job requisition. Compensation offered to the successful candidate will be determined by qualifications, prior experience, other job-related factors, and geographic location.
