About This Role :
Under limited supervision, the Customer Service Assistant provides administrative support to the customer service staff. Provides general assistance to customers in the absence of Customer Service Account Representatives.

Essential Job Functions / Tasks :
- Enters all warranty return credits meeting specific requirements of each distributor.
- Assists with inbound phone calls informing customers of product availability, back-orders, and possible delays in shipping. May be required to track shipments to provide ETA at distributor location.
- Assists Customer Service Representatives in entering sales, sample, and literature orders.
- Establishes and maintains customer files, current and past year, to ensure that records are accurately retained and can be easily accessed by the Customer Service Representative.
- Organizes and sorts customer invoices prior to mailing. Sorts and distributes mail. Maintains inventory for office supplies and places orders when necessary.
- Provides support to the International Customer Service Team in processing shipments and commercial invoice documentation.
- Provides backup support to Marketing Front Desk Administrator.
- Supports special projects as requested by Customer Service Manager.

The hourly rate for this opportunity ranges from $16.85 to $21.55
The Company complies with all federal / local / state regulations in regard to pay. The above represents the expected hourly range for this job requisition. Compensation offered to the successful candidate will be determined by qualifications, prior experience, other job-related factors, and geographic location.
Salary : $17 - $22
