We are seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer with a PE credential to lead a team in performing geotechnical investigations and explorations. Geotechnical Engineer Responsibilities
- Conduct geotechnical explorations, site characterizations, slope stability assessments, and risk evaluations for various developments.
- Supervise lab technicians, oversee quality reviews and certifications, and manage equipment inventory and calibration.
- Train and mentor junior engineers (EI / EIT and new PEs).
- Track project progress in terms of timeline, budget, and profitability.
- Assist with marketing and proposal preparation by providing technical expertise.
- Ensure quality assurance / quality control (QA / QC) for all deliverables.
- Independently manage projects with oversight from the Department Manager.
- Oversee lab testing assignments, document reviews, and accuracy of testing results.
- Prepare geotechnical engineering reports and interact with clients on technical matters.
- Plan and execute subsurface investigation programs, including project design plan review and test boring location.
- Design and analyze earth embankments, retaining structures, anchoring systems, shallow and deep foundations, and perform slope stability evaluations.
- Monitor and enforce quality control standards and specifications.
