Quality Inspector

$25-28/HR
The Quality Inspector will perform semi-complex inspection on detailed machined parts using a wide variety of measuring instruments to determine acceptability or rejections of parts and/or parts finish.
Quality Inspector Responsibilities:
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to perform accurate measurements
- Read blue prints and interpret source requirements
- Conduct visual inspections to identify any defects or non-conformities in products
- Document inspection results and maintain detailed records of quality control activities
- Collaborate with production teams to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality management processes
Quality Inspector Requirements:
- HS Diploma or GED Equivalent
- 2-3 years of Metrology experience
- Experience with first article, in process and or final inspection
- Experience with microscopes, indicators and comparator
- CMM and/or Automated Inspection Equipment experience
- Experience with AS9100 or ISO quality standards
- Able to read and utilize blueprints and schematics
- Ideal candidate will be extremely detail oriented and work with a sense of urgency
- GD&T experience is preferred
- Aerospace background is preferred
