About the Position

Ideal candidates will have a strong knowledge of electrical systems and be able to diagnose and repair any issues. This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, as well as demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills. We are looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and has a commitment to safety.

Successful Candidates will:

Possess exceptional mechanical skills, knowledge of electrical systems, and power distribution concepts and applications

Have an excellent understanding of the National Electric Code

Understand blueprints, wiring diagrams, electrical drawings, and manufacturer’s installation manuals

Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems in an industrial environment, may supervise or repair faulty equipment or systems

Install and terminate electrical equipment, lighting fixtures, control devices, and power distribution panels using hand and power tools

Use various types of testing equipment such as a multimeter or megger

Observe functionality of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement

Be able to train and coach apprentices and other coworkers

Perform all duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $42.00 per hour
