We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Director to lead our client's Human Resources function in North Houston. This is a strategic and operational leadership role for a seasoned HR professional with a preferred background in the oil & gas industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success across all facets of HR, with deep expertise in employee relations and team management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of HR Generalists, HR Managers and HR Business Partners to deliver comprehensive HR support across the organization.
- Drive employee relations strategies, serving as the subject matter expert in resolving complex issues and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Experience with utilization of the 9-box model for succession planning and performance evaluations.
- Develop and manage merit increase programs in alignment with company goals and industry standards.
- Lead the creation and management of the HR budget, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Provide HR support for international operations, ensuring compliance with global employment laws and regulations.
- Partner with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives, fostering a high-performing and engaged workforce.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 10 years of HR experience across all facets of human resources, including employee relations, performance management, and compensation.
- Proven experience managing and developing HR teams
- Expertise in the 9-box model, merit increases, and HR budgeting.
- Experience supporting international operations is strongly preferred.
- Oil & gas industry experience required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
